Thomas Christopher Elliott has experience developing compelling grant applications for government agencies, foundations, as well as other sources of program and research funding, both as the principal and as an assistant to client organizations. One success story so far has been securing a Fulbright Fellowship and an example of his grantwriting is the following proposal to the National Science Foundation. Unfortunately, no one was awarded funds from the STS section at all during the year of this application, and there is definitely room for improvement in the substance, but it is a solid example nonetheless.
