The nascent T.A.P. project seeks to collect and share a comprehensive database of acronyms used within official documents from around the world for the purpose of improving the quality and accuracy of translations.

T.A.P. is very much a work in progress and datasets have also been compiled for other Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries. Please get in touch if you are interested in contributing to the project or if you have any questions. Also feel free to emulate the project for additional language pairs, and if you do, please share the link to it so we can build T.A.P. into a more robust shared tool for members of the profession.
