Teliost is operated by Thomas Christopher Elliott, an experienced translator and editor, a trained academic writer, as well as a self-taught creative writer. Thomas has a master’s in government (comparative politics and public law) from UT Austin and a bachelor’s in Spanish and political science from Whittier College. He also worked as a Fulbright ETA Fellow in Brazil. Thomas speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and English, and has also studied Italian and Quechua. Most recently he worked full-time as a Translator / Proofreader with Trustforte Language Services in Manhattan for approximately two years prior to continuing his freelance practice with Teliost. Beyond language services and writing, he is a practicing visual artist.
